Purchasing Items List
Virginia Tech Mechanical Engineering Department is the sponsor of CPVT. Our team received a budget of $4000, however, our team expected to finish the project under $1,500. The following images are the bills of materials.
Currently, we have spent around $983, and there are still some parts that need to be purchased. I managed to find some parts online and order them for the team after communicating with the department and contacting with companies for free samples of carbon fiber powders.
Our team plan is to complete the building of a functional printer and run some printing tests by March 19th.
